Skin79 BB Cream Summer Collection Hot Pink

I prefer this Skin79 BB Cream Summer Collection rather than VIP Collection.

I heard a lots about Skin79 BB Cream, so I decided to buy it from Gmarket. It was a lots cheaper buy from Gmarket.  It only take 3 days for the item to be delivered.

This Summer Collection Super Beblesh Cream with added Sunscreen SPF25/PA++, promoting whitening, wrinkle free with sebum control effects.

It's not greasy... quite good for oily skin. Highly Recommended.
When using this BB Cream, it is not recommended to use primer and foundation.
For oily and blemish prone skin minimise the basic skincare to avoid any excessive oils.

Black Head Nose Facial Scrub

I would like to recommend this little silicone wiper that works wonder. It made of silicone with anti bacterial effects. It comes in pink and blue colour. Because I bought it from Gmarket, it was sent out randomly... But I am happy with the blue one....

It helps to massage the skin, make skin cleaner and also help in blood circulation. It was very soft.. feel very comfortable using it and have a relaxing effect. It won't scratch my face. But I can't tell any reduced on my black head. Think have to use it more frequently. But overall I like this product. It cost less than $2.
You also can get it from Daisho at $2
Highly Recommended.

Dotting Tool with Free Rhinostones and Heart Pearl

At Last.. my dotting tool arrived today...

I bought it through Gmarket on 18 March 2012 during Time Sale. Few days later I was approached by a post lady at my doorstep. She told me someone send a parcel to me but the stamp they pay was not enough. I have to top up $1.55 in order to receive the parcel.

I was wondering is it their trick to put the item on sale and then asked the seller to pay for the postage. I rejected the item and it was return to the sender. Then I report to Gmarket asking for clarification.
It seems like the seller page 'question and answer', few buyer had the same problems. The seller actually asked for receipt of payment of the $1.55 and they will make a refund. For my case, as I didn't top up the postage fee, they said they need to wait for the item to be returned. It took one month for the item to be back to the seller. I think my dotting tools go around Singapore before reach back to the seller at Yishun.

And Today .. I received it.. It took 30 days to reach me...
It came with a little note to say sorry, Rhinostones and an extra 3D Nail Art - Heart Pearl.

My messy Watermelon Nail Art

I am going to show my messy Watermelon Nail Art.

Just bear with the mess, the picture shown was before clean up...
First, I put on OPI base coat... wait few minute for it to dry...then put in the red pink nail polish from Ruby 'I like Pina Coladas'
For the top green, brush on China Glaze 'Entourage 719' on the top of the nail. Let it dry.
Draw white line in between red and green.
I am using Faceshop for white and black colour.
Put few black dots to the red using dotting tools or toothpick. I am using a toothpick for  this because I am still waiting for my dotting tool to be delivered...

Bobbi Brown Makeup Lessons - Long Wear Collection

I decided to go for Bobbi Brown Makeup Lesson after saw Bobbi
Brown advertisement. Its claims that I can say goodbye to makeup smudges, that is one of the point that I am eager to learn.

Bobbi Brown has 4 choices of 2 Hour Hands-on Customized Makeup Lesson to choose based on my personal beauty and makeup concern. The registration fee is $150 per lesson / per person and it's fully redeemable for Bobbi Brown products.

Choose from one of the four Makeup Lessons:
  1. Instant Pretty
  2. Classic Look
  3. Smokey Eyes
  4. Pretty Powerful Makeup Lesson

1. Instant Pretty

    quickly within minutes.

share with you the art of achieving a look that is timeless.

3. Smokey Eyes

4. Pretty Powerful Makeup Lesson
Bobbi's signature 10-Step Lesson. We'll teach you the tricks of the trade and create a beauty routine
    that's right for you.

I am quite confused with the choices.. which makeup lesson is more suitable for me? After doing some research online through Bobbi Brown website Bobbi Brown Tips, How To, Learn, blog and youtube, I decided to go for Pretty Powerful Makeup Lesson.
I think this is the most comprehensive lesson and you will learn from skincare to makeup. They called it 10 step lesson.

I send email to register for the lesson. The next day I got a phone call from Bobbi Brown. They asked for my credit card so they can proceed with the payment. So no more cancellation. I was advised to wait for the confirmation email.

I was booked on 13 April 2-5pm session at B1 Takashimaya Talking Hall. Upon arrival, I just register at the counter and $150 voucher was given to redeem for Bobbi Brown products upon completion of the lesson.

While waiting for the makeup lesson to begin, I have a chance to enjoy a cuppa gourmet coffee. But too bad I don't appreciate coffee, so I just take a sip and the rest into the dustbin.

This is how the class look like. Have a peek before the class start...
Not long after, I was told to go into the class that I register for. Make sure that you don't go into the wrong class. For the Pretty Powerful Makeup Lesson, there were 11 participants with 3 makeup artist to teach and  guide us throughout the lesson.

First I was given a Bobbi Brown cleansing oil to remove makeup in a cotton wool. Followed by water to clean the oiliness. It was like a step by step cleansing to makeup. Next was toner aka brightening lotion, Hydrating Eye Cream, Hydrating Face Cream, sunblock and lip balm. Then the makeup lesson start... She was asking for a volunteer to demo, one of the girl happily to be a volunteer.  The makeup artist will only put on makeup on one side of the face, then the girl get a chance to learn how to makeup the other part of her face.

First Bobbi Brown makeup artist will demonstrate how to put on Corrector under the eye. After learning the trick then I get the chance to practice on my face. I was given Medium to Dark Bisque shade. It is to brighten the dark circles, neutralize under eye darkness and designed to be used before Creamy Concealer.

My Creamy Concealer is Sand with Pale Yellow Powder. It blends easily to cover and brighten dark circles. I was told have to use the Corrector and Creamy Concealer Kit together to combat the grey tone.

Then set in foundation and loose powder. I have to avoid put on foundation on under eye area as I have put on Creamy Concealer.

For my brow I was told to use Natural Brow Shaper in Mahogany 'cause I have a thick brow. For Eyeshadow I was given 4 colours, but only remember Smoke -24 and Bone -16.
Another best selling is gel eyeliner, Graphite Shimmer Ink was chosen for me. I don't why I was given this grey tone colour. But I still prefer the Black Ink. Use Bobbi Brown Eyelash Curler and their Mascara to perk up my eyes. Put some blush on then finish off with Brightening Finishing Powder which I don't see any different.

I was disappointed because the lesson never touch on Shimmer Bricks. Actually I am quite interested on their shimmer brick because it can use as highlighter and eyeshadow. I didn't even get a chance to try on their shimmer bricks because they never display it on the tester....

By the time I finish putting on makeup... my face become oily... so I don't think Bobbi Brown skincare product suitable for my oily skin. But I still like their Makeup Products.

Its time for me to make use of my $150 voucher... Let me browse around the counter and will get back to you. Click the link here $150 Bobbi Brown Voucher and Membership to see what I got with my $150 Bobbi Brown Voucher.

$150 Bobbi Brown Voucher and Bobbi Brown Membership

As mentioned I was attending the Bobbi Brown Makeup Lesson at Takashimaya on 13 April 2012. It cost $150 but it is fully redeemable for Bobbi Brown Products.

Before attending the lesson, I had been searching on the product information of Bobbi Brown. What should I get with my $150 voucher? After the lesson I still confused with what to get....

My choices list are Shimmer Bricks $70, Gel Eyeliner $41, Long Wear Mascara $45, Creamy Concealer Kit $59, Long wear eyeliner $40, Cream shadow $36 and Lipstick $33.

I was disappointed because they never bring Shimmer Brick to the workshop at B1 Talking Takashimaya. When asked he told me, Shimmer Bricks only available at Level 1 Bobbi Brown Cosmetic Counter.

Tadaaaa... with my $150 voucher I am only able to choose 4 products from my wishlist.. and I have to top up $26 for all....
